DOST holds the National Technology Transfer Day 2019

The Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) will hold the National Technology Transfer Day 2019 on 04 April at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), Pasay City.

The National Technology Transfer Day provides a venue to fast-track the commercialization of DOST-funded and -generated technologies for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), investors, fabricators, and adaptors.

The event offers opportunities to invest in business solution provided by Pinoy-made technologies to improve agriculture productivity, industry competitiveness, and quality healthcare.

As an effort to ramp up the innovative ecosystem referenced in Republic Act 10055 or the Philippine Technology Transfer Act of 2009, the National Technology Transfer Day marks the Department’s success in making science and technology more significant and responsive to the needs of the local market.

Technologies from the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD), Philippine Council for Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), and Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) will be pitched for technology adoptors.

Signing of Term Sheets and awarding of Fairness Opinion Reports to adoptors will also be held during the event.
