DOST-TAPI produces CESE

The Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) took pride of the recent conferment of Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena, Chief Science Research Specialist of the Institute’s Invention Development Division in the roster of Career Executive Service Eligibles (CESE) on 25 January 2019 by the Career Executive Service Board (CESB).

Atty. Decena was able to meet the required managerial capabilities after the hurdling requirements and rigorous procedures along with other 11 candidates from different agencies.

An accountancy and a law degree holder with a Master’s degree in Management, Atty. Decena is one of the three Certified Patent Valuation Analysts in the country.

CES Eligibles refer to officials who met necessary managerial experience and requirements of the CESB and successfully passed the prescribed examinations for the conferment. CES eligibility examination consists of a stringent 4-stage selection process which includes a written examination assessment center, performance validation, and board interview.
