In keeping the commitment of reaching distant regions in the Philippines, the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI)’s Invent School conducted its very first seminar-workshop in Northern Mindanao on 23 August 2019 at the Bukidnon State University (BukSU).

In close collaboration with DOST Region X (DOST-X), the Invent School serves as a platform for the youth to awaken their ingenuity by stimulating their interest in creativity and inventiveness.

“This is a milestone for the school especially that the first Invent School in the region happened in our University and our pupils as the beneficiaries,” said Ms. Elvira B. Sumbalan, Principal of BukSu’s Elementary Laboratory School.

Moreover, Sumbalan expressed that the program is very helpful in enhancing their pupil’s creativity and in sparking their interests to become the country’s future scientists, engineers, and innovators.
