Outstanding stakeholders recognized at DOST-TAPI anniversary


As a culmination of the past year, the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) recognized the outstanding external and internal stakeholders of the Institute on 31 January 2020 at the DOST-TAPI Audio-Visual Room, Taguig City.

Being part of the 33rd anniversary celebration of DOST-TAPI with the theme, “TAPI turns 33: Trailblazing Accomplishments, Leveraging Advancements,” these outstanding stakeholders have majorly contributed to the Institute’s success in 2019 especially in attaining the targets set by the technical and administrative divisions.

External Recognitions

Each program has identified the exemplary individuals or organizations in terms of advocating technology promotion, transfer, and commercialization.

“We are very fortunate of the continued support of DOST’s top management and our clients to our mandated functions as they make our jobs in the Institute easier and more meaningful,” said DOST-TAPI Director Edgar I. Garcia.

With a plaque of recognition and gift bags full of products from the Institute’s beneficiaries, the following is the complete list of external awardees:

Internal Recognitions

Headed by the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE), the Institute has also recognized the most outstanding employees who have contributed to the accomplishment of the targets and overall operations of DOST-TAPI.

The awards given were the Certificate of Recognition in attending the flag raising ceremony, Loyalty Award, and the prestigious Director’s Award for Excellence which is given to the employees who have showed exceptional performance and achievements.

The recognition capped off with the oath-taking ceremony of the newly-elected officers of the DOST-TAPI Employees Association, Inc. (TAPIEA).
