The Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) launched “TechPerfect” in 2020, a virtual event where technology generators pitch their technologies to target industries for possible adoption.

Consisting of a series of webinars, it is an alternative for the physical industry matching activities that were postponed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

TechPerfect: Finding the Right Match for your Business was conducted on 02 December 2020 online

TechPerfect is one of the activities under the Technology Transfer Day Project implemented by DOST-TAPI,  which aims to showcase new technologies to potential adopters.

It has served as a venue for negotiations where a company or business entity expresses interest in any of the presented technologies, which may result in the signing of initial agreements.

Divided into four clusters, industry participants are introduced to technologies in quality healthcare, agricultural productivity, MSME competitiveness, and IT development and disaster resilience.

In December 2020, one term sheet for a quality healthcare technology was signed during the breakout session.

Meanwhile in 2021, a total of 39 technologies were promoted.
