Through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) signed a partnership for national development on 21 March 2022.

Initiated by the DOST Office of the Assistant Secretary for Human Resources Management, Management Services, and Special Concerns, the joint endeavors aim to stir the economy through innovation in providing technical and financial assistance to foster science-based and globally-competitive industries.

As the first leg of the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) Director’s visit to the DOST Regional Offices, Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena met with the Officials of DOST Regional Office No. VIII on 16 March 2022.

The visit was able to discuss the planned activities of the Institute to the regions particularly on the conduct of the DOST-TAPI Caravan and Stakeholders’ Forum: Bringing Science and Technology (S&T) Closer to the People in June 2022.
