Project Title: “Support to the Implementation of the SciTech Superhighway Program of the DOST and IPOPHL/DTI”

Two (2) Science Research Specialists II (SRS II) as support staff
Status of Appointment: Contractual/Project-Based Staff
Monthly Salary: P42,127.20
Duration: Six (6) months (subject for renewal)

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience
Training: Four (4) hours of relevant training

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job;
2. One (1) year of relevant experience;
3. Four (4) hours of relevant training;
4. Good moral character;
5. Willing to work on extended working hours without additional compensation;
6. Innovative thinker and doer, with a drive to excel in a unique field of specialization;

Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience in project management;
2. Experience in dealing with experts and other relevant stakeholders;
3. Basic appreciation of Intellectual Property (IP) rights.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist the program manager in coordination activities with councils, RDIs and technology generators;
2. Perform formality evaluation on the endorsed applications/disclosure submitted by the councils, RDIs and technology generators;
3. Monitor status of technologies and evaluated and to be forwarded to the TWG;
4. Serve as focal persons between client and patent agent-in charge, and between patent agent and IPOPHL;
5. Maintain the file records per technology;
6. Prepare publicity materials for the project;
7. Accommodate walk-in, phone calls, email inquiries from clients;
8. Perform all tasks to be assigned by higher-ups from time to time.
