Project Title: “Support to the Implementation of the SciTech Superhighway Program of the DOST and IPOPHL/DTI”

One (1) Science Research Specialist I (SRS I) as support staff
Status of Appointment: Contractual/Project-Based Staff
Monthly Salary: P32,104.80
Duration: Six (6) months (subject for renewal)

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Experience: None Required
Training: None Required

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Holder of a Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job;
2. Good moral character;
3. Willing to work on extended working hours without additional compensation;
4. Innovative thinker and doer, with a drive to excel in a unique field of specialization;

Desirable Qualifications:
1. Experience in project management;
2. Experience in dealing with experts and other relevant stakeholders;
3. Basic appreciation of Intellectual Property (IP) rights and commercialization;

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the administrative matters that may be required in support to the TWG;
2. Assist in the coordination and schedule-setting of monthly TWG meetings;
3. Monitor and keep track of the finances of the project;
4. Assist in monitoring and reporting of activities to ensure the timely accomplishment of Project's deliverables;
5. Endorse to applicants the results of the TWG meetings and communicate advices and recommendations on the applications;
6. Facilitate the preparation and submission of the Project's accomplishments and financial reports and other reportorial requirements;
7. Prepare publicity materials for the project;
8. Accommodate walk-in, phone calls, e-mail inquiries from clients and stakeholders; and
9. Perform other related duties/tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
