As the implementing arm of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) in promoting the commercialization of technologies, the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) celebrates thirty-four years of providing inventive and innovative programs among stakeholders on 30 January 2021.

Founded in 1987, DOST-TAPI envisions being the strategic partner in advancing national socio-economic growth by advocating a culture of innovation and promoting globally-competitive and useful technologies.
FIS, DOST-TAPI commence second webinar series

In celebration of the National Inventors Week (NIW) for 2020, the Filipino Inventors Society (FIS), Inc. in partnership with the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) promulgated a comprehensive eight webinar series for November.
The webinar series highlights the different government initiatives in support to inventors and innovators in the new normal.
Further, it recognizes key inventors and innovations that empower economic growth.
The 2nd Webinar Series, “Inventor in the New Normal: Motivating Inventors to Create Innovative Products for the New Normal and Beyond,” will be held on 06 November 2020 and will feature resource speakers to inspire seasonal and would-be inventors.
