The Department of Science and Technology-Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) earned two prestigious distinctions at the 2024 FOI Philippines Awards held on November 25, 2024, at the Hilton Manila in Pasay City.
Mr. Ryan Ebron from the DOST-TAPI Legal Unit was named the "Best FOI Officer," while the Institute itself received the 2nd Runner-Up FOI Champion Award for Agencies/Bureaus/Commissions/Councils.
Mr. Ebron's award recognizes his exceptional dedication to promoting transparency and ensuring the efficient implementation of the FOI program within DOST-TAPI. Meanwhile, the recognition of the agency further highlights DOST-TAPI’s commitment to fostering transparency, accountability, and public service aligned with its mission to advance locally developed technologies for national development.
