Bicutan, Taguig City- The Department of Science and Technology- Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) commenced The National Women’s Month Celebration on March 1, 2023 through a series of enjoyable activities organized by the Technical Working Group of the Gender and Development Focal Point System (GFPS-TWG).

All employees and on-the-job trainees wore purple and were encouraged to wear this color every Wednesday for the month of March as a way of demonstrating support for gender equality and women's empowerment.

Participants enjoyed an energetic Zumba dance routine, singing performances and giving of flowers and chocolates as a gesture of appreciation.

The theme for the National Women's Month celebration is "WE for gender equality and inclusive society", is a new recurring theme that will continue from this year until 2028.

This theme is complemented by the official hashtag #WEcanbeEquAll.
