The certificate was awarded to DOST-TAPI based on the standards stipulated in Memorandum Circular No. 2022-1, put forth by the Inter-Agency Task Force on the Harmonization of National Government Performance Monitoring Information and Reporting Systems (Task Force Administrative Order 25, s. 2011).

This achievement reflects DOST-TAPI's adherence to Executive Order No. 02, s. 2016, signed on July 23, 2016 by former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. The order operationalizes the people's constitutional right to access information concerning official acts, transactions, or decisions, promoting transparency and accountability within government institutions.

  • Observing and upholding the people’s right to information on matters of public concern, in accordance with the 1987 Constitution.
  • Implementing robust systems to facilitate easy identification, retrieval, and communication of vital information to the public.

The recognition is not just an acknowledgment of DOST-TAPI's present efforts but also a commitment to maintain the same level of dedication in the future. By abiding by the provisions set in the executive order, DOST-TAPI is reaffirming its role in enhancing public trust and fostering an environment where the citizenry is empowered through information.
