IP Valuation is a key aspect which must be developed to efficiently translate results of government-funded R&Ds into useful products and services that will benefit the nation.
In line with the projects “Support to the Commercialization of 500 DOST Generated Technologies: Strengthening the Intellectual Property and Technology Portfolios of the DOST (Fairness Opinion Board-Phase 2 Project)” and “Valuation of Technologies Generated from PCAARRD-funded Research” which forms part of the Technology Transfer Pathway, a two-day live-in training-workshop on IP Valuation entitled “Royalty Rates and Other Financial Terms” will be delivered by none other than Prof. Philip Mendes, a licensing and IP negotiation expert having 25 years of experience in the field.
The said training is organized by TAPI in cooperation with Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD)
