Assignment: PADAGHAN Project

Contract Duration: November 2024 – November 2025

 

Status of Appointment: Contract of Service

Monthly Salary: Php 48,250.00

Duration: Six (6) months, subject to renewal

 

Minimum Requirements:

Education:       Bachelor’s Degree relevant to the job

Experience:     One (1) year of relevant experience

Training:          Four (4) hours of relevant training

Eligibility:         None Required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations (PR), Marketing, Media Studies, or related field.
  2. Strong background in developing and implementing communications strategies and campaigns.
  3. With at least two (2) years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing, ideally with exposure to international events or local exhibitions.
  4. Experience in coordinating with creative teams and managing the production of campaign materials.

 

Desired Skills:

  • Proficient in content creation, with strong writing skills for press releases, social media posts, and promotional materials.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts that enhance PR campaign impact.
  • Familiarity with graphic design, media buying, or event management processes.
  • Ability to analyze campaign performance and use feedback to optimize future activities.
  • Strong collaboration skills, especially with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficient in digital and social media platforms, with knowledge of PR measurement tools.

 

Other Requirements:

  • Flexibility to travel as needed for onsite support at international exhibitions.
  • Ability to work outside standard hours to coordinate with international teams and project timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability to respond to dynamic project needs and challenges.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. As Communications Expert, assist the Project Technical Specialist IV in the communications strategy for Project PADAGHAN in alignment with the efforts for PR activities associated with each international exhibition.
  2. Work closely with the Project Technical Specialist IV to identify and understand each international exhibition's PR requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  3. Primary personnel for the development of the communication plan with creatives unit for its PR activities, including campaign collaterals, booth setups, promotional materials, and media engagements, for each exhibition stage (pre, onsite, and post).
  4. Collaborate with project staff at levels 3 and 2 to ensure seamless implementation of PR campaigns, providing support and assistance to execute planned activities effectively.
  5. Utilize creative skills and background to contribute innovative ideas and concepts for PR campaigns, ensuring they are engaging, impactful, and aligned with project objectives.
  6. Conduct research and analysis to identify professional services and external partners required for specific PR activities, such as graphic design, media buying, or event management, and assist in procuring these services.
  7. Liaise with DOST employees acting as project staff at levels 3 and 2, leveraging their expertise and knowledge to enhance the quality and effectiveness of PR campaigns.
  8. Assist in developing PR materials and content, including press releases, social media posts, and visual assets, ensuring they are compelling, on-brand, and tailored to target audiences.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the performance of PR campaigns, collecting data and feedback to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  10. Provide support in preparing post-event reports and evaluations, summarizing the outcomes and impact of PR activities, and contributing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
