The Asian and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology (APCTT) of the United Nations (UN) Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) together with the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) organized the International Conference on Green Technologies for Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on 28 November 2017 at the Park Terraces, Makati City.
The Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI) will hold a technology forum showcasing the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development’s (PCAARRD) Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources (AANR) Technologies on 21 December 2017 at the Livelihood Productivity & Training Center (LPTC), Brgy. Batya, Northville 5 Bocaue, Bulacan.
The Invent School Program completed the last leg of the pilot testing of its modules for elementary pupils on 29 November 2017 at the Upper Bicutan Elementary School (UBES), Taguig City.
Aimed to hone the young minds of the future Filipino inventors, the Program provides a starting ground for students to get in touch with their creative and inventive potentials.
As one of the promising programs of the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Technology (DOST-TAPI), the Program is a vehicle in leading aspiring inventors to improve their natural ingenuities meant for generating endeavors for future enterprises.
The Asian and Pacific Centre for Technology Transfer (APCTT) of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) held its 13th Session of its Governing Council (GC) last 28-30 November 2017 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites Makati, Manila, Philippines. The Session which highlighted the election of a chairperson and vice chairperson for the GC and the conduct of the international conference on green technology was hosted by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
