As the first leg of the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (DOST-TAPI) Director’s visit to the DOST Regional Offices, Atty. Marion Ivy D. Decena met with the Officials of DOST Regional Office No. VIII on 16 March 2022.

The visit was able to discuss the planned activities of the Institute to the regions particularly on the conduct of the DOST-TAPI Caravan and Stakeholders’ Forum: Bringing Science and Technology (S&T) Closer to the People in June 2022.

 The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), in coordination with the Philippine Trade and Investment Center, Dubai of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-PTIC), showcased true Filipino ingenuity and innovativeness at the Science and Technology (S&T) Business Virtual Forum and Business Matching Event on 15 March 2022.

As part of the business program of the Philippine participation to Expo 2020 Dubai, the featured innovations were developed and created by home-grown technology startups and enterprises including DOST’s very own Philippine Textile Research Institute (DOST-PTRI).

DOST Secretary Fortunato T. De la Peña welcomes the participants of the S&T Business Virtual Forum and Business Matching Event on 15 March 2022 via virtual platform
