Five years after its launch in 2016, The Technology Transfer Day  Project or “Tech Trans Day” promoted DOST-funded technologies, signed 261 term sheets, and executed 34 Technology Licensing Agreements.

Implemented by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI), Tech Trans Day is a three-year project which promotes technologies made by local technology generators (TechGen).

For the last five years, two of the special projects implemented by the Technology Application and Promotion Institute of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST-TAPI) will be completed in June 2021.

The week-long virtual celebration dubbed as “Week-long Accomplishment and Culminating Activity of Special Projects” or WACAS, highlights the Support to the Commercialization of 500 DOST-Generated Technologies and Strengthening the Country’s Intellectual Property (IP) and Technology Portfolios or the DOST 500, and Technology Transfer Day Projects.
